U.S. Council on Competitiveness names Stevanovich as an Executive Committee Member
US Council on Competitiveness names Steve Stevanovich, hedge-fund manager and clean energy investor, as a new Executive Committee Member.
The United States Council on Competitiveness just named Steve G. Stevanovich, president and CEO of SGS Global Holdings as an Executive Committee Member.
Stevanovich is a hedge-fund manager with a large history of working in the private sector. He will work with the council and its members to help increase productivity and economic growth.
“I’m energized to join the Council and begin addressing the key competitiveness issues that our country is facing,” said Stevanovich. “It’s an honor to be a member of the prestigious Executive Committee, and I look forward to working with my new colleagues on ways to keep America prosperous and thriving.”
Stevanovich joins the ranks with nearly 140 members of the council, including CEOs, university presidents, labor leaders and national laboratory directors.
“Steve’s leadership in business analysis and venture capital strategy will bolster our Executive Committee’s ability to assess competitiveness issues, particularly as they relate to our corporate partners,” said Deborah L. Wince-Smith, president and CEO, U.S. Council on Competitiveness.
